10 reasons to attend Web Summer Camp this year
After a successful last year’s Web Summer Camp in Amadria Park Šibenik, we decided to organize it again at the same place. Before we remind you of some of the reasons why you should join us, go to your calendar and save the date immediately: September 1-2.
#1: This year, we are celebrating the 10th edition of Web Summer Camp. Yes, you’ve guessed it, this year will be special. So, imagine not taking part and regretting it later. You don’t want that. :)
#2: We’ll have a slightly different schedule this year. Along with the hands-on workshops in several tracks, you will get to attend a number of in-depth presentations by leading web experts. The first speakers will be announced soon!
#3: As already mentioned, we are meeting in Amadria Park Šibenik, one of the most popular resorts on the Croatian coast, that offers plenty of services and facilities to keep you relaxed and entertained during your stay.
#4: You can mingle and talk with the speakers during the entire event. In fact, you might even end up sharing a stage at karaoke together! The point is, Web Summer Camp is a super relaxed conference and so are the people attending it.
#5: The after-work program will not let you down. Besides the amazing scenery, resort beaches and attractions, we’ll make sure to keep the spirits of Web Summer Camp alive and kicking with after-work activities and hang-outs.
#6: You will get a chance to enjoy the beautiful and enchanting Mediterranean gem — the city of Šibenik. Šibenik is the only city in Croatia with two UNESCO World Heritage Sites - St. Nicholas' Fortress and St. Jacob’s Cathedral.
#7: It is super easy to get to Šibenik. You have two airports in the nearby cities - Split and Zadar. Besides, as it will still be the summer season, you can count on some affordable deals and plenty of flight options.
#8: Don’t leave your loved ones at home, bring them along! We are preparing a Companions track again this year. We will keep your companions entertained and relaxed with city tours and sports activities while you are busy attending workshops and presentations.
#9: There will be plenty of time for swimming and sunbathing for you, too. The weather on the Croatian coast is still very warm and lovely in September and the crowds are definitely smaller, which means - more space on the beach :) Enjoy the last days of summer before we deal with the autumn rain and rut.
#10: Boat trip on Saturday! Make sure you don’t check out early on Saturday morning and that you leave some time for a boat trip around the Šibenik archipelago. Dive into a Mediterranean vibe surrounded by the beautiful Adriatic sea, while hanging out with your Web Summer Camp friends.
Of course, these 10 reasons are not the only reasons why you should attend. There will be so many more as we get closer to September. We will make sure to inform and remind you about them on time! :)
